Mission beach is a very pretty and tropical town. Every day was 30 degrees or more. In our palm tree filled caravan park we enjoyed the water slide that curved into the magnificent pool.
On the second day in Mission Beach we hired a boat and travelled over choppy seas to Dunk island for the day. We snorkelled, caught fish , went on a water trampoline and jumped of the 4m pier. Later on we saw a sting ray right where we had previously jumped.
Mission beach is home to where the TV show sea patrol is filmed.
Culturally tourists flock to see mission beach and its beautiful surroundings.
Socially heaps of backpackers stop on their way to Port Douglas or Cairns. Economically Mission beach lives of its tourism, attractions, entertainment and its water sports.
